something u should know if u don,t already know is that the D/B trunk is tapered so it gets narrower as u go down from top to bottom so make sure u use the bottom measurement of the D/B trunk as the top is wider otherwise ur new d/b will only go down inside the d/b trunk halfway :o

as for chain 1/4" & linked to match my anchor winch, chain I beleive 50' & 200' of anchor rode for a total of 250' combined
as for alcohol Scotch or vodka has never failed me yet ! :wink:

The newer more exspensive Galvanic Isolators have a failsafe mode which the cheaper ones don,t have, the little test light on the cheaper one,s is not much good to u if u r not on the boat to monitor it ! . also u should mount 5/6" s/s reg nuts between the 4 mounting bolts for the battery charger & ...

A lot of guy,s in salt water paint them with a recomended bottom paint for steel/alum boats they usually paint the whole leg , but there is a special paint & process for doing it right !, I,ve been told ! & never checked into it yet

If u can find 1" OD X 3/8" ID Bronze bushing long enough to fit right thru the rudder after drilling it out nice & straight then insert it & using the hole above it resin it completly in on both sides inside & out , or drill it out to a 2" hole making sure u cross center mark the original hole locat...
