It’s always a flip down, or this another BOAT upgrade?

Here is the same interior with the hatch closed lighted by LED lights taken by an IPHONE 6:

What's that wood behind the aft starboard seat? Where do you sleep on an overnight and, if it's the pizza birth, how do you access it?

Re: Yet Another Galley Mod

I’m thinking sunken drawers that you need to lift up before you can pull them out. I think the pop out drawer pulls are the best option, though, so you can use regular slides with soft close. https://www.thehardwarehut.com/catalog-product.php?p_ref=320084&gshop&gclid=CjwKCAjwps75BRAcEiwAEiACMVUHDnjH...

Re: 26M Owners in South Florida?

I’m sure I’d be happy with either model, but I’d prefer to have a real world idea about the differences before I pull the trigger either way. I have some thoughts about a potential remodel on the M that wouldn’t work on the X, but that’s without being inside and really knowing if it’s possible. If t...

26M Owners in South Florida?

I'm still Macless and still undecided on my favored model. Then again, I've never been on an M, so my thoughts are theoretical at this point. With our water being so shallow around Miami-Dade county, it seems that the X's swing keel with the kick-up is preferred. Is there anyone near me that has the...

Re: Broken Links / Missing Images When Searching Forum

Hey Russ, He has a point - I just spent an hour trying to find a picture of an X head I just saw about a week ago on the site here and I can't find it! Might there be a way to search or create a page that is just the picture links on the site? I could scroll thru pictures and find stuff easy that w...

Re: low tech/ faucet

Nice. I was thinking about something similar as a possibility and was wondering if I could rig up a 12 volt compressor to keep the pressure up, but something like this battery powered garden sprayer may be a better solution. Re: to paint or wax topside...when is it "OK" to start thinking paint

Windancer looks pretty good for an old girl. Have you painted the deck? On the Macs I’ve been looking at in Florida, most have thinning gel coat and I’m wondering how well a DIY coating can be made to look and how well I can expect it to hold up. Additionally, what sort of prep did you do for the di...

Re: 26M Galley Mod Feasibility Question

No kilts or dresses for me, but any bottoms that don't have zippers work just about as well. Ah, I see, so your a professional - that changes things. It's called a 'head' because it's the only place in the boat where you can stand up - thus "Head Room" or The Head Room as it was originally termed a...
