Re: New Glass2 on Knot Shore

. I only do the smooth parts of the top deck, doesn't seem to be any more slippery than without it. I have not noticed any yellowing... here is what my boat looks likes now. I'll let you all be the judge. (check out the black area on Compromise and mine) http://www.enctrader.com/hardtlefamily/KnotSh...

Always sail within your safety level of experience. Don't let anyone push you past your comfort level... not even a pirate like me!

I have had to re-wetsand (600+ grit) it lightly one year. Do you do anything at all between yearly touch-ups? ---...

Re: New Glass2 on Knot Shore

Hey all,
I just did the annual re-apply to all the smooth surfaces (hull, sides and top windows... minus cockpit) with 4 coats and used a half a bottle. Took me 15 minutes (I was grilling in between coats... hehe)

Looks like a new shiny boat again!

Re: Rear Berth Internal Gas Tank

Hi dbryceking, I am one (maybe the only one) who did a bow gas tank. The biggest reason I did the bow, didn't even consider the aft, was weight at the aft. I usually sail with 2 -4 people and a 90hp motor and two gas tanks and the stuff I stow in the aft berth just made the back of the boat very hea...

Re: Dogs & Macs...

The best dog... is a litter trained dog. Really. I had a Pomeranian that I litter trained since birth, used it at home and on the boat. We could leave the dog on the boat and go out for lunch or dinner, would not have to find land to walk her; excellent when anchoring overnight... just the right siz...

Re: Don't take it personally

Yea, I came under fire one time from someone from Sailing Anarchy... I actually hopped on and commented. http://forums.sailinganarchy.com/index.php?showtopic=73901&st=0 Good thing is, I have an excellent sense of humor (probably bent) and a thick skin. I will be sad when I have to sell my MacGregor....
