Re: Venture21 boat cover
My guess is the material will outlast the thread, UV is killer. Mine is holding up well but the black is faded, my next one will be lighter color for fading. I have a like new taylormade cover that came with a west wight potter sailboat you can have for $100 shipped if you want it. They are over $20...

Re: Replacement Motor
I am looking for any recommendation? Because of where I live I must keep my mast down until I clear a couple bridge before bring up the mast, which requires me to use a motor at low to med speed and with 4 adults and one fur baby (90 lb GSD) the current motor struggles to get me into the open water...

Check out peak tarps, they sell on ebay too. Their tarps are 1000 denier cordura nylon, its probably 5x thicker than sunbrella at a fraction of the price. They are heavy to store. They custom make each in the color you pick. I bought a 12x12 about 3 years ago and had them taper it 10' out to 12' to ...

Re: mold-mildew
I started keeping a normal $20 110v household box fan running in my boat 24/7 a few years ago. The moving air seemed to help. I take everything out and store in my attic January and February, recommission with a complete interior scrub down before bringing everything back. The interior liner is a re...

Re: where would you sell a sail and boarding ladder?
For oddball stuff that can fit into a box ebay is the way to go IMO. It costs about 10%, so about $50 for a $500 item. Macgregors have a large following. If you post it in the title people will find it. I got more for my lightly used OEM :macx: genoa on ebay than I paid for it brand new. If its an o...

Re: LED running lights - battery powered
I think its a great idea. Every time I walk through the sporting goods at walmart I tell my self I should pick up a back up set, they normally have them for about $30. https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/3d756441-3d5b-4924-bbfb-7ad4fa18fc92_1.d26ddf75fa6e3334ff2b651d3906c00a.jpeg?odnHeight=450&odnW...
