Triducer at stern with ev-100 raymarine display

Post by kurz » Thu Aug 15, 2019 1:13 pm

Hello
I can show you my new mod.

I installed the airmar P39 Triducer at the stern. The data goes with nmea2000 to the raymarine p70 display, that was already installed at the helm becouse of the raymarine autopilot ev-100.

So it works perfect for temperature and depth.

The speed is to slow becouse of the rudder that makes turbulences. Has anybody better place?

As you can see in the pic I can pull the triducer up when longer not in use so I have no fouling on the Triducer.

I've been planning to do something similar on my :macx: . I have an in-hull transducer for sonar, but I don't get water temperature or speed over the water. I'm hoping I can get that data with a sensor off the back.
