For the past 2.5 months I worked on my

to paint her, top to bottom. She's got new anti-fouling, side and deck anti skid paint. I removed all black from hull, and after 2 weeks in the marina I can tell a difference in temperature down below compared with previous years. Also it's much more comfortable walking on deck bare feet. This was a good time to reset all deck hardware, it was time after 16 years.
I know there are others in forums who like white boats, I would like to share this picture:

Wow! Is that a Mac X?
It looks fantastic. So modern and contemporary. What did you do? I would love to have a boat that looks as good as that.

I agree. Outstanding. It looks really nice without the stripes.

Thank you!
It was a huge job, but it has to be done, and I kind of enjoyed it, but no, I will not do it again too soon.
This is what I did:
-suspended the boat on home made wood stands, I got inspired from many posts and mods in this forum.
-remove old anti fouling from bottom -- this was the most time consuming job -- I used a paint stripper
-prep and paint bottom with one layer of primer (barrier coat) then 2 layers of VC17m
-removed all hardware from deck, except chainplates
-prep topside and deck, including small gelcoat repairs, cover some small holes
-two layers of prime on topside and one layer on deck.
-painted topside and white parts of deck with Brightside, 2 layers
-mask the anti skid deck areas
-painted anti skid with Kiwigrip
-reset all deck hardware -- I used butyl tape instead of classic 4200. Butyl tape is really easy to work with, I don't know how well will hold, time will tell.

I like the doodad you have holding up the hatch. Can you provide details on what it is and where you got it?

I got the hatch support from local chandlery about 3 years ago, if I remember well I paid less then $30.
