I have the 05 M, and the wood trim (in my opinion) really warms up the boat. Since necessity is the mother of invention, I'm sure someone will come up with an idea to add the look of wood to the newer M's.

Now about scrapple :( Besides being made from a pig, scrapple contains everything no one prefers to eat. After making salami, bologna, loafs, etc,. That which is left over from the pig goes into scrapple. Nose, ears, tail. Everything but the oink :D They then add seasoning, onions, and cornmeal mush to hold it all together. It seems to be a Pennsylvania (my fair state) delicacy :)

I like the wood effect too but not the one on our :macm: and looking at it yesterday some of the trims have shrunk over an inch. will eventually have to replace them and this is the reason why I didn't push it for replacement because the new ones will do the same and it's not a major job to make new customised ones.
It may be a problem installingthem or removing the old ones though :?: .

Boblee,

I'm not certain what I am supposed to see. My M is at the marina, so I can't look to compare. The molding has shrunk at the inside edge? If yes, is there some sort of flexible, quarter round molding that can be applied?

Ray all the trims have shrunk it's not too bad on the outer edges as they just don't meet but on the inner edges they are way inside they corners, will get a photo today as I am working on the boat which will show them now.
If you enlarge the link I sent you can see how they have pulled away from the inner edges (bottom) but you are right there possibly is a different trim available.

Wanted the wood trim. Decided to just redecorate the boat. Put 2,50$ worth of mactac frosty window coverings on the windows. Just peel off during the day and gives great privacy at night. Don't think windows need wood trim anymore. Boy this is a great boat to play with!

Q1,

I think you have a great idea :?: , but when I went to look at it, there were no pictures of what you were talking about. At least none that I could make out. Post a close up if you would. I think the concept is great.

Ray,
Sorry got carried away just showing off! Got to go to confession on sunday ...sins of vanity and all that.

You can see the galley pic has it , but here is a better one. A roll of the stuff costs 5$ and there seems to be enough for lots more windows. the fitting is easy just cut a piece of the right lenght and hold it on the window paper side up and trace the outline right on the paper ...then cut. The kind of projet you can do drinking scotch and stuff.

Now come on Highlander lets keep to the subject...window trim....right?

Think I 'll go to the clinic tomorrow to have the doc look at knees. My right knee smarts when I kneel on the port cushion to take that tassel off the window (don't try this if you have wood trim) .

Although it does feel better when the tassel caresses my knees in a rhythmic clockwise motion...but then I also digress from that pesky window trim suject.
Looks like rain.
