Ok, it's not a Mac video

[Indulgence]

I have been busy this winter refitting my "other boat" on Vancouver Island
so my usual pointless, long winded Alberta winter posts have been
sorely lacking. There is little more I could do to the Mighty Mac to
improve or make her more comfortable where we sail her. On the
other hand, this 27 year old keelboat I bought in BC has proved to be
a challenge!

If anybody has any questions about the reliability of old Volvo
diesels, the cost of re-powering, the strength of foam core hulls,
the trust we should place in our insurance companies, the kindness
of strangers, and the real cost of (non-MacGregor) ownership... fellas, I'm your man.

Meantime, after nearly eight arduous months of extraordinary cost and
sweat equity, I had the fortune to circumnavigate Salt Spring Island last
week. Mostly under sail. I offer the link to this video for your enjoyment.
