D-3!
Eric
Thats good news

Saturday may be a little rough--rain forcast, north winds, chop, but the "X" can handle it.
Concerning that "renaming", I hope you come up with better than "UGLY DUCKLING"
By the way, you and the admiral be sure and visit us at Legend Point some time in the future...we have five Macs here now. There are 2 additional Mac Xs nearby (one in Watergate, and another just across from our Marina. It'd be great to get together this Summer.
Happy launching & Christening,. Watch for those crab traps.

eric....that windsurver will lash to the deck stanchions.......Until you get that yakima or thule rack mounted, bring it along, let her observe your joyous antics from the comfort of her on the water cockpit patio........... heck.. that mistral will fit just about anywhere.

Glad to see this post eric. I know you will enjoy both the challenges and the routine parts of the trials. The X is a good little boat.
Yes, as one gets older the more comfort tilts the scales over from outstanding performance. Comfort is a good thing on your mother ship. Since we all know it's not made to be a racer, why not make it a comfy cruiser? That was our thinking. Now it's a place to be for relaxation, underway or not. The kayaks or dinghies can provide the exploration excitement in the weedy water.
