Tattoo 26 Background: The Tattoo 26 uses the proven design/molds of the MacGregor 26. (Macgregor manufactured 8,000 Macgregor 26’s since 2003). On the discontinued manufacture of the MacGregor 26, Mr. MacGregor’s daughter and her husband manufactured and sold the Tattoo 26.

Tattoo 26 is a family yacht, easily trailered and launched, that features:
• Berths: 2 double berths (bow and stern) and a dinner table convertible to a single berth.
• Main Cabin: 6 feet of headroom, an enclosed head, dinette and a small galley
• Fresh Water System: 9-gallon tank and pumped water to galley sink
• Boats Dry Weight (empty): 2,500 lbs.
• Beam: 7’9”
• Aluminum Trailer: (by Float-on) with surge brakes; weight of 600lbs.
• Mast Raising System: (included) Mast can be raised in a matter of minutes
• Draft: one (1) foot with no water ballast and 6 feet with water ballast and dagger board down
• Ballast:
o Water Ballast - 1,172 lbs. Can be filled and drained in minutes
o Fixed Ballast – 300 lbs.
• 60 hp Evinrude E-Tec Outboard Engine: Boat can achieve 20 mph when:
o water ballast is empty
o and with sails down and dagger board up
• Past Use: only used in fresh water
• Roller-Fuller Genoa
• Lazy Jack System and Main Sail Cover: Sail cover and lazy jack integrated for superior sail handling (raising, lowering and covering)
• Boat Cover: used for boat storage – blue
• Chartplotter and Depth Gage: Garmin Echomap 54 series with Depth Indicator
• Dual Batteries: (Replaced in 2024) – 3-way selector switch
