Right, I used a hound 18' above the fuller and use a block to hoist the spinnaker halyard. It fouls with the roller fuller! I will try putting the spinnaker halyards to the stern of the spreaders and see how that works.
Thanks,

Re: spinnaker and genoa sheets.
Hi Guys,
Here is one that has caused trouble since I have been flying the spinnaker. I have the Roger's roller fuller at the top of the fuller is always fowling with the spinnaker halyard. I though about placing the block for the spinnaker on the side of the mast. What do you think?

Re: She's Here!
Congrats, you are beginning a wonderful journey. It is interesting how the sailors at my dock get real interested in the Mac 26M when it is time to trailer somewhere, bring her out for the season or step the mast to run rigging. Those 20 and thirty year old boats that fill my dock require a crew to ...

Re: Trip Report Wilmington NC to Southport in V22
Pete, Thanks for your post. I am planning to sail in the Southport area next summer. My folks used to live on Oak Island, so I spent alot of time there. We will no doublt head up the Cape Fear to Wilmington. There is, as you may know, some great fishing near the mouth of the Cape Fear. Thanks to you...

Re: Mast Care
Thanks all for the help! Highlander, I have a greater appreciation for the work you have done on the mast. The picture was very helpful. Am very anxious to get the mods completered and get on the water. Aren't we all that live in places with winter!

Mast Care
Hi All, Ready to take the tarps off to begin a second season on the :macm: and getting ready to clean her up--get the wax out, etc. I will be adding a wind vane and mast hound (for spinnaker) to the mast so I will have it off the boat for the mods. Two questions: Was wondering if there is any care o...

Re: Reefing Lines
Thanks tangentair, that makes alot of sense. Wish I would have know that two weeks ago when I had the mast down. I thought it was a lower shroud on the port side that was the problem (too tight), but when it was ajusted it did not make any difference. The mast does move manually, but just feel like ...

Re: Reefing Lines
Thanks Art, I do love the boat. Had the fam onboard last week with 30 degree heel at four knots and it was like one of those corporate bonding seminars—very much fun for rookie sailors. We slept on board and she rocked us to sleep every night. I have not had so much fun in years. I have installed th...

Reefing Lines
Just started sailing again(after 25 years) and love my Mac26m! Want put reefing lines on the sail and would welcome some input on size of reefing lines. Also are they knotted on the grommets...how? Do they then stay on the sails or kept handy? I have KH C2000 mainsail. Second question, with lines af...
