Re: Aus Made Trailers
Hi Clemo, Yesterday, I did a handover for a customer who purchased a Tattoo 26 who did not require the trailer as part of the package. It is the new Tattoo 26 trailer, aluminium frame with galvanised draw bar and wheel rims. It will be modified to meet Australian Design Regs- change of coupling, rew...

We do it on all of our biminis. Ask the trimmer to sew a velcro cover on the window as well. http://www.bluereefyachts.com.au/Lbimini.htm

Re: Actual cost of a new MacGregor M: $42,000
What is really annoying is for the same set up down here in aus, for a brand new M, your looking at over $70,000AUD. with the doller so strong at the moment, its daylight robbery. Even the bare basic boat is $52,000AUD. second hand Ms are no cheaper thatn $40,000AUD, and thats for early 04s. The on...

Re: Chinese Trailer Sailor
I would hate to see a 26 foot sailboat made by them if this is the quality of their jet skis. Dodgey, very dodgey.

Re: Wanted, MacGregor trial sail in Perth
Hi Trialsail, Water skiing (especially slalom) no. Wakeboarding, deffinately. 3/4 WOT with a 60Hp would be a comfortable speed. She kicks up a great wake with full ballast. Scuba diving is not out of the question. Rolling off the side of the cockpit would be the way to get wet. Taking your gear off ...

Re: Forespar Marelon Winch - how to disassemble?
Hi Jim, They sound like they are faulty. I think you will find that if left in the sun the drum will expand making them near impossible to remove. Try to remove them at night when it is cool. My guess is that they will need to be replaced as the tollerences were probably a little too tight when they...

Re: Importing a Mac 26M from Canada to Perth
If you cant afford anything to go wrong, dont do it. If you do it yourself, things will go wrong, it will cost a lot more money than expected and unless you are extremely lucky or have done it before it will probably become another horror story. We have imported a bunch of 2nd hand boats (Mac and ot...

Re: Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show- Gold Coast
Turtonr, I think you really only have two options: 1. Catch a train to Helensvale, then bus to Sanctuary Cove 2. Drive to Gold Coast Parklands and catch the shuttle to the show. There is another, come down on your Mac, anchor in the Coomera River and the Volunteer Marine Rescue will drop you at the ...

Re: The Bomb exploded on my Motor (a bit long)
Sounds like it would be cheapest and easiest to buy a laptop, load it with BRP software and keep it attached to the motor when out on the water. Is that not as stupid as it sounds?? Okay, maybe it is. Its a shame it didn't happen a few years ago when the motor was under warranty. I bet they would ha...

Re: Odin
I love the idea of the stern drive on a hybrid powersailer. That would make the boat look like more of a traditional sail boat in the water without having the big OB hanging off the stern. I wonder how much room they lose due to the motor being an inboard?
