Ah! maybe, however, we only had about 70 hours on the 50. Now that you mention it I'd be interested in finding out hours used on the other motor. :?:

They said the part was fixed shortly after the problem was found. Didn't tell me how many faulty motors were distributed.

air compresser

Well I found out what is wrong with my motor. The air compresser in the 2002 TDLI 50 stoped working and shot gas throughout the motor. Luckly Nissan has agreed to replace the faulty parts and the ruined parts for free. Also I thought I had 2 clams up in the centerboard, well, turned out to be a larg...

my concern is burning the 50 out. Can I go 12.14 knots with Mac at 4300rpm for say 6 to 8 hours w/o burning her out?
The motor has very few hours on it. I thought it had 200 but it ends up having approx 80 after tracking the hours.

All we store is cloths, and the basics. :macx:

TLDI 50 - prop size?

I have a TDLI 50. I'm trying to get the maximum cruising speed. I read somewhere if I have a larger prop put on the 50 it lower RPMs and get more speed. I would imagine the shop would have to change the gear ratio. Did I understand this article correct? I have misplaced the mag. 2. Does any body kno...
