Removal of the old registration sticker
I do not know what it is like in other states but in NSW the rego label (for boats) is made of some sort of plastic covered paper. How the hull do I get the old label of the fibre-glass hull without damaging the yacht? Why can't waterways supply a vinyl type label like the RTA provide for cars? Some...

Re: Sailing the Clarence River
Hi Wizard Sorry for the delay in answering your post. My boat got some damage during the flood and I put it in for some insurance work way before Xmas. Only just got it back in the water yesterday. Took way longer than I thought it would. I was looking forward to the Clasic but it didn't work out. Y...

There is a free program called IrfanView. Google for it. Use it to open your pics. When you
"save as" you can then decide how large you want your picture.

Sailing the Clarence River
I sail my 26X on the Clarence river between Yamba, Maclean and Grafton in northern NSW. It's been pretty lonely as far as other Macgregors go so far although the other day I did see another X getting some work done in the Disco marine shop. I will have to keep my eye open for her. I am also getting ...

Re: If you could do it all again... which motor?
I have a 26X and I recently swapped my 50HP 2-stroke for a 30HP 4-stroke. I did this because the 30HP 4-stroke is quieter, much better fuel economy, Less smelly, Still plains so I can drain the ballast although if I have more than 1 guest I have to drop them off to make it easier to drain the ballas...
