VHF Cable up The Mast
Thanks for all the help. My M is a first year model. It does not have the new mast support but the old post on the pedestal. Doesn't work well. I was not aware that there would be more foam in the mast other than at the top and bottom. There is no cable chase in the mast either. I did look at using ...

Running VHF cable up the Mast
I am finally getting around to putting my VHF antenna at the top of the mast. The M has both the top and bottom of the mast plugged with foam which I did not want to mess with. I have considered running the RG58 cable up the mast slot keeping clear of the mast slugs using cable ties with short ends ...

Trailer Mods Cont'd
I took my trailer to a welder after much frustration trying to get Macgregor to accept that the wheels were not under the fenders. The welder cut the axle in the centre and opened it 3" and rewelded it with a sleave. In order to keep the correct camber and toe in he welded temporary braces. He ...

Trailer mods
I know from some discussion last year that others had the same problem with their trailers as I had. The wheels were not under the fenders so stones could hit the boat hull.
I have just had the axel widened 3" and this fixes the problem. If there is any interest I will post pics.

Re Down at The Bow
To answer questions I do have a Honda 50 with 9 and 12 gallon tanks. I have the 5 gallon flexi tank.
Does anyone know if the 2005 model has this problem?

Fore and Aft Balance on an M
This is my second season on my M. I noticed this year that the boat is down at the bow about 3". I did not notice this last year. I moved all heavy items aft and have tried to refill the ballast tanks with 4 people sitting aft in case there was an air lock. The boat is still down at the bow. Th...

Broken Hatch
Has anyone had a problem with their plastic hatch breaking? I leaned forward last night to close the slider and the corner of the hatch broke with just a little pressure on it. I would expect that material to be quite strong.
Am I also correct in that the 2004 models have a fiberglas hatch?
