Re: Blue hull verses white hull

Took my blue hull up to the lake yesterday, all shined up and ready for the slip for the summer. Two laddies come out of the convenience store while I was topping off the gas tanks and told me what a beautiful boat I had and I have heard that other times. The novice that I am I probably wouldn't win...

Re: Solar panel to recharge 2 batteries

I have the harbor freight 5 watt mounted aft of the transom on ss pipe and had great luck with it last year. I did not use any thing else except what came in the package. Ran wiring that came with panel to my accessory battery to experiment and it done a good job keeping that battery fully charged s...

Re: sail caddy how to build

Thanks Rick for the info on how to do it right. I could have got it done looking at the web site, but my boom might have looked like the last bass boat guy shot at me with a ak 47 for not moving fast enough. afterall 4.5mph verses 80mph is alittle slow. Again Thanks

Re: Solar Panel Choices

Re: sail caddy how to build

http://www.sailcaddy.com/ Is the web site. As of now there aren't any available. I did contact one of his dealers that because of no availability did have one on a display boat that he parted with, which I just received with no instructions on how to mount. It is put together, but I guess that I wil...

Just received a reply from Chris at sail caddy. He said with the current economic situation he is unable to supply me with one now. So back to square one.

Re: sail caddy how to build

Thanks for the info. I have emailed him again, and I guess I am impatient, he may be out on a good cruise. I have read enough on this site to know that I would like to have one and would prefer not to build it, but probably can

sail caddy how to build

I have read with great interest about the sail caddy here and would like to try one. I emailed sail caddy but haven't received a reply so I guess if I had some dimensions and a list of materials I could probably build my own since i am a semi retired farmer and have built a lot of stuff over the yea...

gas grill mounting

I am planning on mounting a small gas grill on a 26M using two 45 degree flanges, one on the boat the other on the bottom of the grill, with a short piece of 1" SS tubing connecting it together extending the grill over the side of the boat. Am I going the right direction here? Also where should...
