Have had the BWY full enclosure since the boat was new. Love it! Makes the boat user friendly during the winter months.

Re: lazy jacks
Hello dxg4848:
I will be curious to see any pictures you may take of the BWY main sail cradle/lazy jacks combo. BWY can't seem to provide pictures of their product. Go figure!

Later this summer we will be on I-64 paralleling the York River. Any one with launch site ideas close to the inlet? Tow vehicle and trailer storage is not an issue.

Re: Spare tire on Aluminum trailer
I successfully use this mounting system. Why? Because I need the added forward weight to offset the heavy Mercury 50hp Bigfoot hanging off the back. FYI: my tow vehicle is a heavy 1976 Oldsmobile modified to be equivalent to a modern HD PU truck. With a new trailer tire and rim there is a lot of wei...

For several years my shoot thru the hull Lowrance transducer has worked just fine. It is buried inside a big glob of plumbers putty.

Re: garage storage clearance height?
I wanted to know the answer, too. So I measured: Ground to top of mast in crutch support = 9 feet 7 inches / Overall length on standard factory aluminum
trailer w/ 50hp BF Mercury in raised position = 32 feet 2 inches

Re: Water Leak Aft Bilge Under Bed
I used to have a similar problem with my :macm: until I corrected the following. At the aft of the boat where the engine control cables/pushrod exit are 2 holes. On my boat one was covered with a rubber boot. The other had no cover. Regarding the one with the boot, I removed the boot, used 5200 adhe...

Whole Almonds, Whole cashews, Dried Apricots, Dried Cranberries, Dried Banana Chips Trail Mix for nutritional value and Dried Dates for fiber! My U.S submariner son-in-law adds "3 bean salad which I hate, jello, omelets with powdered eggs which aren't bad, pastas".

Dave: I use a Lowrance unit with their standard Skimmer transducer. I use the Skimmer inside the boat. It works just fine. I cannot tell tell the diffenence from when it was mounted on the outside. I have it mounted in Home Depot plumbers putty next to the port side rear ballast tank. I have used it...
