Re: head sail

Luckily I saved a copy - hope you don't mind Judy - all in the good cause of 'private research' :) . Great combined track layout for 150 genoa as it would give correct sheeting angle regarless of the amount of furling - perhaps not quite as clew would move up as sail is furled? http://i65.tinypic.co...

Hi Bob,
My understanding is that some (all?) of the 26Ds built prior to 89 had the lower sides. Sometime in 89 the sides began matching those of the future 26S.

Re: Back on the water again, finally.......off to the Bahama

Talking about the swimming I did use the 3 lb weight today and the day before. It still isn't enough. I bought some fish weights but maybe not enough of those either. Maybe I've 'bulked up' on all my great cooking  . Actually I only cook about every 3-4 days and make enough that I eat cold le...

Re: Who do you insure your Macgregor with

My boat is also insured through Professional Insurance brokers. They tend to get a very good wrap on TSP and I found Andrew very easy and sensible to deal with. Details as follows:

Re: Near miss Paynesville x 2

I'm not fond of the jet skiers but at least most of them know and adhere to the rules i'll give them that. Seriously?? Wow. I gotta move to your neighbourhood, Dennis, 'cause the clowns I've seen piloting those things tend to completely ignore any semblance of nautical rules of the road. Some suita...

Oh well, waste of time applying for a mooring I guess... have to think about getting some more chain and just leaving her on the hook here and there ins...
