Re: 26X fuel tanks = More Fuel?

I fit two of these 6 gallon tanks on the starboard side of my cockpit - with an extra two in the garage in case I ever want to "move up" to 24 gallons. 8) https://www.walmart.com/ip/Scepter-08592-Neptune-Marine-Fuel-Tank-6-Gallon-Gas-Can-for-Outboard-Engines-Boat-Accessories/20694354?wmlsp...

Re: MRS line?

No, the winch line. 8) I have the old 26X MRS. ANyone know what line (size and length) I should get to replace the old one (been there 15 years)? :? The original (non-winch) MRS was supplied with 54 feet of 5/16" white line. If, however, you're referring to the other (non-wench) Mrs. system... ...

My wife told me on our honeymoon "length isn't important" :)

Re: MRS line?

Thx. I'm thinking 5/16' and 55 feet. And weight/stress. I have no idea how strong it needs to be. I'm thinking pretty strong. 8)

:D :D :D Um, for sailors, it's "tow beast". For the first 7 months of 26X ownership we've been renting a U-haul to pull her out of storage and down the boat ramp. My daily driver back home must've sensed I was out two timing her because after 20 years of problem free driving my '05 ...

Re: Rub rail, other style....

It's a lot of work to be done right. 8) The idea of peeling off the whole rubrail and replacing it wholly scares the bejeezus out of me. I remember having read some horrifying reports. And, after all, it's just a "skinny bumper", supposed to endure a few bumps. Mine doesn't leak and doesn'...

Interesting blurb on perception of the Great Lakes 8)
