Re: Nice comment re standing rigging

Thx, what size/width did you use? 3/4 inch? 8) I used about 12inch long pvc tubing that I slid over the side stays by disconnecting the stay adjustors when the mast was down. Just have to mark the pin locations before you take them out. I took them off a few years ago and just used rigging tape over...

Re: Nice comment re standing rigging

Anyone know where to get the white plastic tubes that fit on the ends of the sidestays over the chain plates? My old ones can't be moved to my new sidestays. :(

Re: Nice comment re standing rigging

Yeah, I use a 1/32 line as my topping lift. 8) I did notice that the B&W backstay had a single chainplate to connect to the right rear. My backstay has two ends, one connects to a pully (to adjust the backstay tension) and one allows me to secure the boom when not in use. Anyone know where to bu...

Re: Jib or Genoa?

Ok, on my X, using my 155 Genoa, I can point to about 30 degrees. The sweet spot is 45 - 60 degrees. 8) My 150 doesn’t point well at all. However most of my sailing is either too little or too much wind I can “reef” my Genny which works when winds are too much. I also often fly just the headsail whe...

You can buy ramps off Amazon. I have one for my Lexus SUV. Dog loves to "supervise" any time I'm going someplace. :P https://www.amazon.com/Saicool-Portable-Folding-Traction-Saicool0009/dp/B09FDY67TM/ref=dp_fod_d_sccl_1/138-5126370-3697556?pd_rd_w=K9RqM&content-id=amzn1.sym.1576c491-64...
