Hi Ray,
Actually, living large, just got some really bad knees. Can't jump around on the little boat anymore.
Probably doesn't help that I've gotten fat too (working on it though) I just don't get much time for the boat anymore either.
Who knew retirement would be so busy.
Thanks for the note.
Hey strangers, Just wanted to bring to your attention that "Three Sheets" is in the classified section. I'm finally selling her as I'm having some old man health issues. BTW, I think it's actually a 1989 year model. I'll have to check the pink slip. I'll consider offers. So, if you (or any...

Hi all, And yet, just down river, Lake Havasu never changes more than about 6 inches. In fact, most of the lakes on the Colorado I've seen haven't changed very much, except Mead. So, what's up with that :?: Meanwhile here in California, Guess when the last time in recent history we were having the &...
Here's one I built. It is simple, installs in seconds and can be operated from the ground or on the boat. This is great for single handed rigging  https://app.box.com/s/wwre10uq9pbvf54qakoq (click on the first pic then you can click through them, zoom in, etc.) The ATV winch is from Harbor Fre...
Naval Jelly  But I've done this with the "Scratch All" method mentioned above. Wood dowel inside the spreader also works well. Don't know about the M but I have shortened the spreaders on both X and D boats, by the amount that fits inside the spreader sockets, with good results. This...
Have the Sail Warehouse cover for about a year now. It's blowing up in the 60-70s right now. The cover doesn't care. It can be driven down the freeway in this wind anyway. It looks like the day I received it in the mail (brand new) This cover is pricey, but it is great! Very easy to install/remove t...

Any indications of how many are attending this early, January? Will be in NOLA April but could gather up and travel. :| :macx: Hi Newell, I plan to attend (April). I'll be dropping my boat into the local pond after(Silverwood Lake) in May or June, for a couple months, maybe three. I'm going to try ...
Harrison, When I had my X, I was slipped at Dana Point for awhile. I can't speak for your M, but I did find the best way to get to Catalina was to sail there. But if I had a short weekend I'd motor, full speed, no ballast, all boards up. My X boat did have a 160 mile range, motoring (two 12gl tanks ...
