The main work was the pump out and the way to understand what kind of pump works.
If u use a manual Bilge pump and a new bucket itll work also.
If it's cold and windy and girl and other people near, outside shower is not the best...

Re: Raising mast on ramp?
I often raise the Mast when docked in the water.
Does not matter. When you already have the Mast raised it is easier to dock an walk along the boat. That's all.

Re: The Admiral Wants Heat
It modulates to its lowest rate of fire, but stays on. this is normal, my china heater does the same. there are heater that turn completely off and start again depending on temperature. I have the 2kw heater so the heat is not so high anyway. Maybe the 12V-consumption could be higher becouse the 10...

Re: Well, you wanted a swim platform....
The only reason for the platform for me was easy docking in the Mediterranean. There you drop the anker, then move back to the dock. With the macs the problem is you cannot get out of the boat backwards because of the OB, the boat is to far away from the dock. With the platform you could do this eas...

I like it. Especially when single handing and mooring.

Re: What would happen if I fell overboard? (Single handing)
To be honest... to answer the thread question, if you fall ober bord mostly you will die. With life west somewhat later. Ray-line may help to get contact to the boat. Or a line you pull back of the Mac. May give you a small chance. But imagine how fast the boat rides... Und and how slow you are... Y...

Re: Upgraded blue water rudder brackets?
Ok, so the ones marked “new” are the upgraded ones from BW? I’ve had my boat 14 years and am still on the original set. They are bent at the bottom. I do quite a bit of sailing. I finally put a compression stud inside the rudder pivot, which is now a half inch. This system reduced the slop, and mak...

Re: Upgraded blue water rudder brackets?
If memory serves, the aluminum brackets that cracked and bent were simply held in place by a vertical axle. We didn't have to remove the plate that goes against the fiberglass wall. That was still in good condition. It could be done easily in waist-deep water. Not hard at all. (It was definitely ea...
