Ok so we finally established that I have a 1971 Venture 24 I went to a mac/venture 24 group that has a lot of phots in their database and my boat is an exact match down to the pleather on the cover over the keel pivot point except for two details that concern me. 1. there a divider of some sort that...

well whatever the case is Ive checked the stringers under the cockpit and so far ive found nothing and no evidence that there ever was anything there

well yeah the title says 71 mac the titles hin says new mexico home made in 81 and the boat hasnt been registered in NY since 1990 and is currently registered in Ca with all documentation. I doubt the boat is stolen or stolen in any recent time where it is going to matter the boat was built prior to hin numbers being a requirement 1971

possibly mac26paul but the problem remains that in just looking at the vessel no one can seem to identify the make not even in some sort of majority basis

looks an awful lot like the mac 24 of that era to me the deck over the bow section of the cabin as well as the portholes all appear to be of that year the only problem is the boat is too long. I dont know how I could have been 'supplied the wrong info' how often is the pinkslip wrong?
