How many times will you have to step the mast on the great loop?

Great show!
My favorite was the Beneteau Oceanis 37
Too bad there was no MacGregor presence.

Re: Taking On Water (2000 26X), Ballast Tank Leak!!???!!

Well, I haven't heard anything yet about what the problem was and how it was resolved. I thought I found a person on Facebook that was associated with the boat, but never got a reply.

Does anyone know whatever happened with this particular problem?
I'm very curious what the solution was.

Re: First Family Trip Out: Disaster

I just used some motor oil on the exposed end of the shaft tempraraily and worked it back and forth. I'm not sure what is recommended but likely a heavier grease.

Re: First Family Trip Out: Disaster

Did you ever figure out the Steering issue? My steering was pretty well locked up when I took my 26x out for the first time. Re: FINALLY put my 26x in the water

Yeah, I couldn't believe the price. I *had* to buy it. :D
The boat is at Senecaville, Ohio. Seneca Lake.

It's a small lake, but not too small. Maybe the 2nd or 3rd largest inland lake in Ohio. A good place to learn.
How long have you had your x?

Re: FINALLY put my 26x in the water

The other picture shows the ramp with a concrete walkway 'dock'. No cleats on it, and nowhere to tie off the boat.
