Re: oxidized finish restoration
I've had the same annual wax and polish exercise each year, but this year I went the route of the New Glass 2. It's only been a few months, but I'm happy with the results. You'll find a lot of information in past posts from others that have used it on their Mac's.

Re: Beta on Lake of the Woods Canada
I'm on Rainy Lake about 70 mile from LOW and have wanted to spend a week sailing the northern area of the lake. Let me know when you're planning to be in the area and I'll se if I can work my schedule to fit.

Re: US Canada crossings, landings, lake borders..was Maine coast
I also live on a US/Canadian border lake (Rainy Lake) and sail freely between US ana CA. Its a very simple process to aquire the CA remote crossing permit for the year that allows you and listed family members to enter into Canada at will. On the flip side you then can get the I68 from the US that a...

Re: Transducer advice
I have a 98X and I placed my transducer below the berth just aft of the head close to the ballast tank. It is secured with plumbers putty and works very well even with a good heel. Just need to be sure you work out any air pockets in the putty between the transducer and the hull.

Would it be possible to get a similar effect if the mast were filled with a foam core?
