3 axle trailer?
the steel trailer has rusted to the point that replacement is necessary. It was a 2 axle I'm in Florida, gulf coast. I been scouring Craigslist, seems 24ft boats are all the rage, 26ft? Not so much. I can have an aluminum procured for $3800. Dual axle, surge brakes, other stuff that escapes me at pr...

Re: The perko chronicles...
So u use ur perko?
And both batteries' negative are connected to each other then out to the panel and motor?
The purpose of the switch is to use either or both (or none), so why is this scheme defeating the purpose of the switch ? Isn't one of the purposes to use the batteries in parallel?

Re: Update: Now with PICS. Opinions on this etc 90 for my 2
So....the flat plane section of the motor should be even with the bottom most part of the hull.
If the holes don't exactly allow a perfect alignment, which direction do I err on? Motor plane lower than hull?

Re: Update: Now with PICS. Opinions on this etc 90 for my 2
Fortunately I don't have to use the phrase "short by an inch" in other arenas of life. First I had to build the a-frame scaffold. Check. Then the hoist, create the lifting-device (for $11 rather than $50....I JUST can't abide ridiculous over spending) Check. Got the wedges Check. Engine ho...

Re: Opinions on this etc 90 for my 26x
Thx Starscream, those look exactly like what I bought. Progress to date, I managed to sell d Merc 60 EFI. I was very honest with the buyer about all of the hassles I've had with that POS. I gave him a pretty heavy discount from thebluebook. Good riddance I built an a frame scaffold . Since the motor...

Re: Opinions on this etc 90 for my 26x
Thx for the tip Starscream. Could u elaborate a little?
I assume the wedges tuck the prop tighter to the transom in full-down position. So the wedge is fat side up?
Where do u get wedges? You have a size or measurement of some kind?
