Perhaps I'm old fashioned, but to me if you love the boat you sail then its the right boat for you. I've raced catamarans, J22s, J24s, 420s, and sailed and skippered a 12-meter (drives like a truck by the way). I own a mac and enjoy it for what it is.

Keeping rain and wind out of hatch/companionway
I have an older 22 and the sliding hatch doesn't meet up well with the companionway door. There is about half an inch at the corner and a few other spots. Obviously, when we get rain with a little wind I get rain in the cabin (along with anything else floating around in the air). Does anyone have an...
