Well, I figured one way out of how to fix it... Dive mask and a crowbar. Not preferred though. Also learned that sticking something down the hole where the keel's cable goes (in this case a flexible metal rod), will not work. It did make its way all the way out out of the hull, but I later saw that ...

Thanks EZ... We're hoping to fix this one in the water. Hope I don't have to break out my scuba gear. Do you know how full it needs to be? Eg: if I put a rod down through the hole and measured the depth, how much do we need?
