I did the same and it is run back to cockpit. Works really well, even if solo chute flying. Only do this in under 10mph winds though...
Always better to have a crew.

What is factory lifeline size on the 26x? Looking to replace all lines for safety and add pelican hooks...

Never without ballast unless will pull it out of the water for a hurricane...
I always double check it as well just to make sure.

use plastic from gallon milk jug, used to use this for hobie cat rudders and worked. stack them up and make them circular...

Curious, how much weight did this add to the boat? We usually take 4-6 out and with ballast, etc... wondering?

How do I post pics on this forum so I can show spinnaker and bow pulpit area?

Curious how everyone is running tack line back to cockpit for spinnaker. Currently, I am using other bow tang hole beneath furler for tack line. What diameter line do we use for tack line 1/4"? Also, can this tang take the load? Don't have anchor set up at the bow that I have seen others attach...
