Hi 1. You may enable up to 5 cards to be used. They can be used over and over. As I indicated in a previous post, I enable a 1 gig card and can probably put all I would ever want on that one card, at one time. 2. When you place the information on the card, it has all the detail. You scale the desire...

I purchased the unit along with the swivel mount, Map Create, NauticPath and data cable. I'm impressed so far. For anyone that might be interested, I used a 1 Gig SD card I had with the MapCreate. It worked fined. The manual said at the time of printing they had tested up to 512 MB cards. The MapCre...

That is my (former) Suburban. The most amazing thing here is that Chip and I both continued together and made the trip to Bimini. I had to buy a new car the next day in order to continue the trip. We ended up waiting for our friend Wade (Hunter 260) at the ramp. Wade had blown 5 tires on the way to ...

I also purchased one. They have a simulator that you can download. You can try all the features on your desktop.

I have some lazy jacks I made for my X. I made some for my previous 26S and wanted them for my X as well. Really aids in single handling. When I lower the mast, the lazy jacks are moved forward under the hook for the main tack. There is a picture on one of my mods pages: http://www.thecyberbuddy.com...

We now live in Oriental N.C. and have our 26X in a slip there. On my site ( http://sail.defino.com ) you can see some additional sailing videos including the trip to the Dry Tortugas last year with the Conch Cruisers ( http://conchcruisers.net ). They were all Macs on that trip. Like Moe said, if yo...

I've launched a couple of times from Elk Neck State Park. Very nice facility. They do allow overnight parking. Just indicate when you will return on the little envelope you will find at the ramp. They have a large parking / setup area. The only thing you have to watch is that the ramps are not well ...
