Re: 26M sink faucet
The sliding galley is probably one of the greatest conveniences in the boat and I would never ever ever get rid of it - the sliding function is just too darn useful - I need to work around it. I would have to agree. I find the sliding galley to present some challenges for water system mods but the ...

Re: Drop in shower/washdown solution
In dealing with a place to drain gray water I would think that some sort of pump out to the center board trunk might work. With a little cleverness and discretely routed hoses (think Hogans Hero's) the storm troopers may not notice...... I keep a lot of rubber plugs on board of various sizes: Mainl...

Re: Salvage 26M on auction
Interesting- neither one looks to be a total loss, so I'm wondering why the owners allowed them to be salvaged.... then again, maybe their houses were a higher priority and they were thankful to get insurance settlements on the boats....

what I would give to have our :macm: in Panama City FL right now! Sadly, she's buttoned up for the winter but by next summer, when my wife will also be retired, we will be free to take her to some less "local" waters and return to sailing as we once knew it! Our preferences in Florida run ...

Re: Storage Shelter Options
I purchased a 12' x 31' carport, with 11' high legs, meaning, I can stand on the deck of the boat and not hit my head on the overhead supports. I then bought (separately) additional 30' panels for installation on the sides- two panels each side, so I only have about 5' of side "exposure"- ...

others have posted the link for Bluewater Yachts- that's your first go-to supplier, with all the expertise and all the parts you need. Thanks for the reminder!! That's one area of inspection I have neglected these past three seasons......Wind Chime wrote:.I'd put a second set of hose clamps on your motor well drain pipes. In a bad situation this could let a lot of water into the boat.

Re: Road Warrior trailer has a case of "throat cancer"
Thanks for the wakeup call! I will be hauling our boat down to the Evinrude shop and then to the house for some electronics installs before retiring her for the season and will be sure and thump around my trailer before doing so. Oh and hey- enjoy all the Oktoberfest activities your beautiful little...

Re: V berth floatation chamber
My plan is to send my specs to US PLASTICS (I have had them build a LOT of custom tanks for me in the past for my motor homes) and have a custom tank built to go in that compartment. .As soon as I get a drawing I will try to post it but it's gonna take a while - sorry. That sounds like something we...

I pull the
up a very steep ramp, ballast in (waiting line to get out) and never had an issue with the 4runner. Plenty o' torque!
