Well the mast went up. I made a mast raising system by coping a guy on YouTube. He has a 11 part video which is great. Ukesgp is the youtube name he goes by.
I would love to post a picture but can not figure it out.

Hopefully this weekend I'll be raising the mast for my first time. Is there a certain tension I should have on the stays? If so, what is the rule of thumb? Also, does the rear stay split into two? It appears my rear stay was broken and has only one connection and I think the other unraveled/broke off.
