I hope it has your approval.
You don't need *my* approval!

Just for the record, though, here is my original design for the MacM...

The “M” is for MacGregor, not for :macm: . After all, we don’t want to be confused as Puffin owners, do we :?:
Ray, did you add the “M” or is this something Russ did?

Re: Any interest in a Mac burgee for your boat.

I now have one of the burgees, and I see Ray (NiceAft) has one as well. They’re great!

Russ, how many have you sold? And are we ready / willing to tell the world to order them?

Re: Practical Sailor Article

Nice article... unusually sympathetic. Some of the facts are completely wrong, of course, but in general they captured the reasons we all own Macs. Thanks for highlighting this.

Re: Electrical short

I would drop the two interior lights, disconnect them. Next, check the source wires for shorts and then for proper power supply. Finally, check each of the lamp units for shorts. That procedure will almost surely find the source.

Agree... same with lathe bits. It's all much like hitting yourself on the head with a hammer........ it feels so good when you stop.

Re: Just in time for Christmas

Well somebody is really good with Photoshop. Probably just AI-generated, Ray. It’s rampant… for example, I’m seeing tons of AI-generated car “photos” on FB pages, where it’s very clear to anyone who knows cars that the photos are just wrong…. Too many details are blatantly incorrect. Of course, the...

It’s a joke from the Mac Facebook page. Cute.

My comment against it was “Go directly to SeaTow. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200.)

No, they only got the 26. That being said, I had thought Roger was finished completely with yacht manufacture.

Re: Macgregor Yacht corporation

I don’t get in contact with Roger very often. He’s kind of a private guy, and since transferring the business to his daughter, I get the feeling he’s largely put it behind him. Hence my hesitation to contact him.

Re: Macgregor Yacht corporation

Does anyone know (and yes I'm looking at you Kevin) how to contact Roger Macgregor or someone that may still exist in his executive team? Their web site is long gone, this relates to manufacture of parts for his boats (after market and replacement). Thanks in advance. Dennis. Yes, I am able to cont...
