I gave the Aurora Bottom Wax two seasons to try and prove itself. After applying five coats of wax, the bottom was covered in slime after a few weeks in the slip. I kept the boat in a freshwater lake, moderate temperature.
I am painting the bottom this year, I will see how that works.

I was just going through my favorites list and happened to click on Sailnet's old address and what came up but a notice saying they were resuming business and their email lists are also going to be active again. Not sure if this is good or bad, but I thought it was interesting that they are back. ht...

I bought my jib sock from Power Sailing Center in Burton Ohio. They were very quick to ship the sock, and it has survived three years of use.

I would really be interested in meeting a lot of the people I have read on the site. Count me in. I have often wondered what Stockton Lake was like for sailing. Sounds like a great location if they can handle the "invasion". :macx:
