I tried to do this 7 years ago. Don't bother. Keep your money in USD account since it must be paid in USD, order the boat to be delivered to Europe (with CE package), pay all the customs and enjoy! That is what I did.

I have 5 boats and M26 is the most difficult to steer of them. As a matter of fact it is the worst I know. I normally have dagger board down and at least one rudder. When there is no wind everything is OK but even light wind makes it difficult. Going 4-5 knots is too fast in my harbour. There are no...

it is nice to notice I am not the only one having this problem. That trolling motor idea is really good and worth investigating.

I have noticed backing is much easier but still I would like to be able control my boat better when going forward.

thanks for your comments,

thanks a lot. I am going to use the standard connections. What I needed was those part dimensions. One additional question: what is the length of wire/rope you have in the winch approximately?

exactly, bow thruster is the correct therm. That cost was only for the parts. I am not sure if it could be mounted for M26. In europe those boat slots (?) are so narrow and hard to hit that I have been seriously thinking that something must be done. Yesterday I saw one Yamarin boat which was quite s...

thanks, this is perfect. 185 cm.
I think the factory cost is quite cheap but the shipping cost was too much for me.
What about the length of the rod where the winch is?

M steerability problems

There was a previous thread about steering dramas: it was all about size of steering wheel. I find it strange: steering wheel is already now so big there is not much space left. Having engine like 60 hp Yamaha it feels quite OK to have engine following the steering. The real problem is that boat is ...

hi, I didn't buy mast raising system when I ordered my boat. Now I think I should have. I was going to order one from the factory but shipping costs made it too expensive, over 400 USD. So I decided to make my own version. It looks quite simple system. The only thing which might be critical is the l...
