Re: Motor will not tilt down

Well I used the manual release to lower the motor and get the boat home from her slip and found a rusty tilt/trim motor with a nice hole in the back side. The yamaha part is well over $300.00 so I will be buying an aftermarket motor from Arco for around $189.00. Hopefully I will be fixed and sailing...

Re: Hull Color

I had not thought of it that way at the time but I guess it makes sense. My Brother in law had purchased a 2002 mac x from this dealer and said it was great, we did not h...

Motor will not tilt down

Good evening all. I have a problem and could use some advice if anyone can help. I have a 2003 Yamaha T60 4stroke that is stuck in the raised position. I keep the boat in the water and have not used it for several months. When I try to lower the motor I hear a clicking sound but no movement up or do...

:macm: I live in Neptune Beach outside of jacksonville and launch out of the Jax beach boat ramp. There is a marine patrol station at the ramp where I have frequently seen the officers power loading.

My wife and i live in Jacksonville Fl and decided to go there instead of Miami to save the shipping cost. I should mention that neither of us had any sailing experience. We mentioned this...

Rudder rope wrapped around prop

Thank you for your response. This is the tone we are hearing. More info-- We have a four stroke 60 hp Yamaha. It's the first day back in the water (our boat slip) since all of our Florida hurricanes. The engine totally cut out when the rudder rope wrapped around the prop to lower unit connect area-w...
