Taking the Mac to Block Island R.I.
Has anyone ever sailed from Point Judith R.I. to Block Island? I took the ferry over and had a great time. Its 12 miles off the coast and was wondering if anyone has done it recently, where did they dock, etc. I saw jet skiers following the ferry the whole way there hang out for the day then return.

Need Honda 50 hp advice
Hi all- just avoided what could of been a major mishap . I was going to pull my trailor up a few feet, (My X is stored in my driveway on the trailer) and when I went to the stern, much to my surprise, I noticed that the engine which was stored in the raised position on the trailer, had come complete...

Re: Macgregor 26X or 26M use as charter ?
My friend has a 26m on City Island (Long Island sound) which he has used to ferry passengers across the sound for dinner etc. and sailing adventures. In N.Y. you would have to be a certified captain to "legally" charter passengers for hire.

Re: Replacement Trailer in New England?
Hi SailDog- Have the same problem, cannot find a local mfg. for a comparable trailer. did get a quote for a dble. tandeem trailer but was much too expensive. If you find a mfg. tell them you will buy 2 or 3 and let me know.

Re: 97 X Replacement Trailers
I also have been interested in getting a new trailer. I live in the n.y. area and have not had any luck locally finding a mfg. One quote was for 5,000.00 way too much. If you find any mfg.'s in the area let me know, tell them you will buy 2. I have a 2000x and the orginal trailer is pretty much rust...

Re: Removing Helm Seat on 26X.
I have only had my26x since last Aug., the seat drove me nuts, I took the plunge this spring and sawed off the seat leaving the back intact, 100% Happier with the results, I have to stand anyway when motoring to get a good view.
