Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. I have a lot of great memories associated with "Seas the Moment". Mostly the people I have met. For now I will have to sail vicariously through you guys with what you write on this board.
Thanks
Ben

Goodby but still here
Hi Everyone; I have been on this board for more than 5 years and decided to buy "Seas the Moment", our 2002X because of what I read here. But, Friday I watched her go down the road behind someone else's vehicle. Had to sell because of health problems. Just couldn't stand to see her sit bes...

I too have noticd very little difference in performance mast up or left at home. Mine is off for the rest of the summer also. Biggest difference is visibility. Much better for fishing too. No matter how hard I try, at least a couple of times a day I wrap the fishing line around something then whatev...

Ballast
I have my X berthed on the Delta. I prefer to have the ballast in because of the extra stability. Much more comfortable when you meet a big cruiser throwing a 2 or 3 ft wake. I usually have no more than 3 or 4 people on board so I don't consider it a safety issue.

Thanks for the responses. I should have been more specific. These two batteries will be #'s 3 and 4 on my boat. They will be used to power a 24V trolling motor. When being used, they will be in series. I would prefer to use the 12V charger that I already have rather than spend another $100 to $200 o...

Charging Two Batteries
I have a question about charging batteries. I need to charge two 12V batteries. If they are connected in parallel, can they be charged with a single 12V charger and have the automatic function of the charger perform properly?
Thanks for the help.
Ben
