The folks at San Rafael are pretty good. I got mine from LA and the people where great. They gave me a better deal than the one in San Rafael. I'm selling my 2004 in the classifieds here. You can check it out and see if it suits your needs.

I think I saw a thread a while ago about foldable rafts. Does anyone know the link to that and how good those rafts are since they are foldable?

I have a decoy owl on my :macm: . I hanged it by the mast and the wind moves it so it doesnt stay fixed. so far it has been good to me since i leave my :macm: docked in the marina... once in a blue moon i might have a tiny bit of bird crap that i just hose it off... I got mines at walmart for around...

Thanks alot for the info. Given the size of the electric trolling motor, it seems easier to store and handle since the does not have that much room for a spare in the transom. Also drilling holes is next to impossible too.

I was thinking of getting a trolling motor for my as a backup since its more convenient to have on board. How big of a thrust power should I get to push the boat and is this a better way to go than getting a 5hp.
