My new Tohatsu 50LDI was delivered with an 11.1 x 13 prop. I couldn't get above 4500 rpm with this on my 26X, so changed to 11.6 x 11 and this gives 5,000+ rpm.

Two axles, drum brakes on both.
No problems in 1000 miles of towing during the summer and about 6 launch and recoveries. Ensure good fresh water flushing system for drum brakes if you sail in salt water.
