I have a ETEC 75..The prop is out of the water before the motor touches anything.
I believe the 90 has the same outside dimensions. I have a 2005 M with a 2006 ETEC motor.

One of a kind
Just got my EZ cleats back from Bill at boats4sail.
He is a one of a kind individual. Not only did he
convert my cleats for free,he refunded my postage.
If only there were more like him. A wonderful guy.

Speeds were above 70 many times.Never a problem until the hills of Pennsylvania were I had to go up in third gear. Had a trans cooler installed b4...

Re: storage cover
PVC pipe works well. The first year I screwed everything together.
The following year I found it difficult to line up all the holes.
So I used black plastic tape for the whole thing. It has worked wonderfully
in the last 2 years. Also so easy to knock it all down with a knife.

motoring with rudder down
I have on two occasions travelled at over 15 mph with rudders down after leaving the marina on my 2005 M. Both times for five minutes or more before realizing it. There was no damage either time. It included several sharp turns.
