The custom steering link is really an improvement to our . Installation was quite simple, <90 minutes and the new steering was installed. Can really recommend this upgrade. .

The hesitation is over Just ordered one, will let you know how it is to install and use when it arrives. No more taking a risk of going overboard when disconnecting the engine, that's what I am looking for.

I need a better steering linkage to the motor on my 2010 and have looked at the BWY custom steering. I'm hesitating because I don't know if it will fit my engine (Suzuki 15hp). If anyone has advice to give and/or experience to share I'd be delighted.

I agree on that, a lock nut is also easier to handle than a ring ding IMHO.
