Re: COVID-19 just got real

We are also self-quarantining, Ray, but then you and we live in the nastiest hotspot of infection. We are still getting out, though - to the Robbins nature park, on drives in our sports cars, etc., and I’m getting a lot of things done around the house and garage. So, it’s all good. We all just need ...

Re: 26M Alcohol Stove Top

I just use this stuff from home depot - is this stuff okay? Re: gel coat and carnauba wax

After some rather uncomfortable experiences with medications I was given as a small child, I learned to avoid anything with the name 'fleet' in it.

Just sayin'.

Re: gel coat and carnauba wax

I have always advocated for using carnauba wax.

It's the only wax to use for fiberglass mold release and I also use it on my vintage cars. It is a natural, very hard wax that I've never seen harm a surface.

Re: Flyorsail.com Pegasus Aeronautics ripped me off??

I use cassette tape on the shrouds. Rock and roll, especially old Rolling Stones seems to work best. Especially GIMME SHELTER. I keep the cassette aboard so that if the tape blows away, I just replace it. I'm old. Use my 8-track tapes when they stop playing. What's 8 track? My recording tape comes ...

Hey Kevin, do you have the puffin design in a high res image. I blew it up and it got blurry.
No. I have to make it from scratch since I no longer have the original files. Besides, I thought nobody wanted the dang puffin?!

Wifey is plenty “peachy”... no assistance required.

As for the heater loan, we’re good - have two portables keeping the chill off, but thank you!

Nobody likes the puffin?!

Ah, ye with little sense of humor. *sigh*

Ok, I’ll try and find time to make a letter-based burgee. But I must warn that right now I’ve got my household in disorder because my whole house is getting a total HVAC upgrade and we are without heat until Friday.

Re: Any interest in a Mac burgee for your boat.

Well, as I designed the Puffin logo, I'm kinda partial to that one. Given the colors, however, these are all likely to be expensive to make.

Re: Window Replacement Successes

I have replaced the windows and I got mine directly from Blue Water Yachts. They fit nicely.

My description of how to change the windows is located in the MODS section, here:
