Hey Sovereign. Any updates/pics on what hardware you are re-installing?

I have a 26D and often sail alone.

Biggest thing I have done to improve my enjoyment is to put my boat in a slip. I love the ease of minimal setup to go out. Takes three minutes from arrival to backing out.

Since I sail alone, I got the halyards aft kit from BWY and had my sail converted to slugs. This makes it so I don't have to get up on the cabin to hoist the sails. I do need to get lazy jacks to make dropping the sails a lot easier. With the setup, I point into the wind and pull the halyards. No need to worry about cleating the halyards while trying to get back to the cockpit.

I also put eye straps over the top of my cleats to keep them from allowing the sheets to pop loose.

These things make sailing easier and a lot less frustrating.

Curwen, you mention cleats popping sheets. Our port side pops often. Starboard never. I was going to put angled wedge under one side or replace the workings (what’re they called). What’s the best solution?
