Where to find gooseneck for Mac 25

Post by bkhallock »

I'm looking at buying a Macgregor 25 from a friend. I noticed the gooseneck for connecting the boom to the mast is missing. Where can I find/buy a replacement part like this. Since I haven't owned a Mac. before I'm completely ignorant of where I can find parts that I need. Thanks!

Did you ring Blue Water Yachts? They are the main source for all MacGregor parts.

You'll apparently have to update to the newer connection, and purchase a new boom end. Around $66 plus tax, tag, dealer prep, and undercoating...

You all are so helpful! I asked about the location of the S/N on the trailer and today I found it stamped on the starboard channel iron. Since I haven't bought the boat yet I had never heard of Blue Water Marine. Thanks so much for the helpful information. That's the last hurdle before I commit to buying the boat.
