After some time away, I have been able to get back on the water and enjoy the boat!
Yesterday I was anchored, and could easily move the keel forward - is it meant to swing forward? This seemed odd to me. Regrettably, I pulled the boat onto the trailer with the keel down a few days ago... The first sail after this I noticed the keel was jammed up, but came down on its own, and since appears to raise and lower normally.
The only strange exception is this forward swinging. Can anyone chime in if this is normal?
Many, many thanks!

Re: Keel swings forward?
Hi
Good news. The keel does swings forward and rests on its stop. When you ground out (for example) it can kick back and clear. When you lift, it swings back and up into its trunk. You can sail with it down only partway.
Go and enjoy
