The key to inner peace is to admit you have a problem and leave it at that.

Re: Non-pill cure for seasickness?
A few decades ago, a friend, was an instructor at the naval base in Rhode Island. He had a thirty something sailboat. He was restationed, and moved his boat to Ocean City, NJ.
We, my wife and I, met him in Manhattan to crew the rest of the way. A short time later my wife got severe sea sickness. Joel told her to lay down, and it will go away. It did. She stayed that way for 19 hours; too fearful to get up
. He and I did four hour shifts through the night.

Very interesting and so simple. I wonder if a phone app that could deliver that sound to earbuds would work. I never understood how those wristbands work for seasickness, but apparently they work. This could be a great tool.
Nice find. Will have to keep watching for developments.

Hi StickInTheMud57!
Could you hum a few bars?
I might know that song…..
I think they might be on to something there.
It would be a great boon for those that experience motion sickness to be able to play an app tone and get relief just about anywhere!
Motion sickness can be horrible and debilitating for some folks.
(It’s interesting how positional change such as getting low in the boat and lying down flat or getting in the water (provided it’s safely done) or getting on land can have a dramatic effect to alleviate the symptoms.)
Thanks for posting this!
