Hallo Sailors,
the starboard front window of my 26x has a crack and I tried to order one from BWY. However the online catalogue does not work on my computers with WIN 7 aswell with WIN 8.
After filling out all fields of the online BWY Parts Catalog (Year: 2000, Models: 26x,Category: does not open, Product Description: Window) and pressing "Search Now" nothing ever happens.
Also I didn´t get any answer on my request via this E-mail address:
accessories@bwyachts.com
Does the BWY part cataloque work on Your computers? Is the E-mail address correct? Why do You think they don´t answer, are they to rich to sell anymore

?

It took a few days for Cheryl to respond to my email last week. She did and called me too. They seem very nice.
I ordered a dodger and screen doors!

Rainer...it is a small business so please don't expect instant response like ORacle...they also had some staff changes recently, so I am sure that will not help response

What browser are you using?
I have both XP and Win7 x64 (two different computers), and it works just fine with IE (8 I think on the XP, and 9 on the Win7). But it doesn NOT work with Google Chrome. I don't remember if I had tried it with Firefox or another, but with Chrome, it does what yours does - form fills out, but nothing comes up in a search.
I suggest trying a different browser.

I tried it just now and it seems to be out of order
Maybe they're updating the content.

You have to Use IE. Then if you have 9 or 10 you have to run in compatibility mode. This is accomplished by selecting the small torn peice of paper looking icon in the address bar. That is what I must do with Win7 x64 and IE 10.

I placed an order yesterday using their online system and IE8. I was told by their new parts guy they have been very busy this spring but my order would ship today. I've never had any complaints with their level of service:-)

On a Macintosh, the BWYachts website only works in Firefox, not Chrome or Safari. I suggest trying Firefox if you're having problems with Internet Explorer on a PC.

Using MS-IE-10, the site will not show any parts data, one can type the boat data in but the pull-downs don't work.

Actually, I think that's what the problem was with Chrome - the dropdowns didn't drop down, not a failure to search. I've since gotten rid of it, so I don't know any more.

Okay, let's use our heads here. The OS (XP, Vista, Windows 7, etc.) is distinct from the browser. And if you don't know what OS and browser you are using, you are wrong. Pure..d wrong. Like not knowing the cylinders of your car, etc. And using a smartphone is yet another animal.
