I finished painting the bottom of my 26X and the beauty of it is, I can order the stuff I need off the internet!
Here I am scraping the crud off the bottom
This is a photo of the bottom after sanding
I used seahawk brand. 2 gallons of epoxy primer Tuff stuff (no photos) for 2 full coats, and 2 gallons of sharkskin (black) for 2 full coats.
With some left over.
Here is a video showing some clips of it.

Re: Bottom Paint 26X
Is there anyway to get the boat raised off the trailer that does not involve framing together something. Much respect though I had to sand some areas and adding a coat is brutal. I need to add another coat this weekend.

Re: Bottom Paint 26X
I jacked the trailer up, one side at a time using a very basic 2-ton automotive jack. Once one side was up in the air, I made a pile of 12"-square paving stones that I had left over from a previous project, and put the boat down on that. Then same for the other side. I did the whole job with the trailer in place, and the boat sitting on three piles of pavers, about 6" above the trailer. No framing.
