MacGregor 26X cleats

Post by March »

Hello!
He got caught in a storm last July on lake Superior, that rammed us into the dock so mightily that we popped an Atwood fender (the ones that come with lifelong warranty) and twisted the port rear cleat.
Does anyone know a good source for this type of cleat? (on a Mac 26X, I seem to remember that cleats come in two sizes, but I might be wrong) Blue Water Yachts don't seem to carry them
Has anyone attempted to change the cockpit cleats> I would venture to guess that they have a backplate under the fiberglass. I was planning to remove one screw, put the new one in place, tighten it, remove the second screw and remove the old cleat, and realign the new one's second screw
Thank you!

Mine are open center but have four screws. They look like this.

The bow cleats on my 2002 26X have small washers (not a backing plate). I would be surprised if the stern cleats are different.
